How We Review Corrections
When we receive a correction request, we review the article, the information provided, and any available source material. If a correction is needed, we will update the article as soon as reasonably possible.
Corrections may include fixing factual errors, clarifying language, updating outdated information, correcting names or titles, adding missing context, or removing information that cannot be verified.
Minor Edits
We may make minor edits without a formal correction note. These may include spelling fixes, grammar edits, formatting updates, broken link repairs, or small wording changes that do not alter the meaning of the article.
Significant Corrections
When an error materially changes the meaning of an article, we may add a correction note explaining what was changed.
Updates
Some stories develop after publication. When new information becomes available, we may update an article to reflect those changes. Updates are not always corrections, but we aim to make meaningful changes clear when appropriate.
